Rules of conduct for all Trusted Care Network participants, including prohibited tasks, emergency procedures, and incident reporting.
Emergency reminder: In any emergency involving risk to life, injury, fire, or criminal activity — call 911 first. Then report to Koydo at safety@koydo.app as soon as it is safe to do so.

Koydo is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, referral-first network. Every participant — households, teen sitters, adult caregivers, and guardians — shares responsibility for upholding these standards.
These Community Standards apply to all platform activity and to conduct directly connected to platform-originated bookings, even when that conduct occurs off-platform. Koydo may investigate and act on reports of violations regardless of where they occur.
The following conduct is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or termination: providing false identity, age, school affiliation, guardian authority, or credential information; sharing account credentials or bypassing guardian-linked controls; soliciting or accepting off-platform payments for bookings that originated on the platform; harassment, grooming, coercion, threats, bullying, or discriminatory conduct toward any platform participant or child in care.
Additionally prohibited: requesting or performing tasks outside Koydo's approved care categories; bringing unapproved third parties to a booked engagement; transporting children in a vehicle unless in an approved adult-caregiver flow and applicable law permits; administering prescription or non-prescription medication or performing medical procedures on children unless expressly disclosed in the booking and permitted by applicable law; and misusing photos, recordings, location data, home access information, or personal information about children or families.
Attempting to circumvent age gates, guardian-control systems, identity-verification workflows, or review authenticity controls is a serious violation and will result in immediate suspension.
In any emergency involving risk to life, injury, fire, or criminal activity: call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately. Do not wait to contact Koydo first.
After emergency services have been contacted, report the incident to Koydo as soon as it is safe to do so, using the in-app safety report feature or by emailing safety@koydo.app. Include the booking ID, date, time, location, and a factual description of what occurred.
Users must report safety incidents, suspected misconduct, and policy violations promptly through the platform's safety report feature or at safety@koydo.app. Reports involving children must be made as soon as safely possible.
All participants must cooperate fully and honestly with Koydo safety investigations. This includes providing accurate statements, preserving relevant messages and documents, and not contacting the other party about an active investigation without Koydo's guidance.
Koydo may suspend one or both parties' accounts pending investigation in safety-critical cases. Account suspension pending investigation is not a finding of fault.
If you are involved in or witness an incident, preserve all relevant platform messages, photos, and documents. Do not delete, alter, or hide potentially relevant information once you are aware of a safety concern or investigation.
Koydo independently preserves platform records, booking logs, consent timestamps, and communication metadata for safety, legal, and compliance purposes.
Koydo may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account at any time if: a safety concern is reported; a policy violation is suspected; a legal request requires action; or Koydo determines, in its sole discretion, that continued access poses a risk to users, children, or the platform.
Suspended accounts may be reinstated following investigation if no violation is confirmed. Terminated accounts are not eligible for reinstatement. Koydo's decision to suspend is not a public statement and is not shared with unrelated parties.
Teen sitters may only accept bookings within Koydo's approved task categories, which include standard babysitting supervision of children aged 3 and older in residential settings, light household tasks directly related to child care during the booking, and platform-supported tutoring or homework assistance where applicable.
Unapproved tasks include but are not limited to: overnight solo bookings for sitters aged 13–15; unsupervised transportation of children; medical or nursing care; tasks that require a professional license; and any activity that applicable law prohibits a minor from performing for compensation.
Parent Hosts are verified parents who offer care in their own homes. By registering as a Parent Host, you agree to: (a) maintain an accurate and current description of your home environment, including pets, pools, safety features, and capacity; (b) accept only the number of children that does not exceed your stated maximum capacity; (c) ensure your home meets applicable local safety standards for child supervision; and (d) immediately update your profile if any material safety condition changes (e.g., a pool gate is no longer secured, a new pet is introduced).
Parent Hosts who offer a co-op time-exchange arrangement must honor scheduled exchange bookings with the same reliability standards as paid bookings. Repeated failures to honor co-op commitments are treated as cancellation policy violations.
The 'Home Verified' badge is awarded by Koydo at its discretion following an optional home safety review. The badge does not constitute a government inspection, professional certification, or guarantee of safety. Households remain responsible for conducting their own due diligence before dropping off children at any Parent Host home.
Use the in-app safety report feature or email safety@koydo.app to report incidents, suspected violations, or safety concerns.
